MISSION

About the Mission

Saint Anne Mission in Klagetoh, Arizona is a mission church of the Franciscan Friars within the Catholic Diocese of Gallup serving the faithful in the communities of Klagetoh, Wide Ruins, and Cornfields on the Navajo Reservation.

Saint Anne was established in 1927 by the Franciscan Friars. The Our Lady of Guadalupe Province of the Order of Friars Minor retains oversight of and responsibility for Saint Anne and friars from Saint Michaels provide sacramental ministry to the mission and its people.

In addition to the Franciscan Friars, members of the Dominican Sisters of the Roman Congregation and the Brothers of the Sacred Heart have been in active ministry at Saint Anne for many years.
